Hair Loss

Hair is skin supplement. It exists in three types: long hair, down, and bristle. The structure of hair cannot be changed, it is hereditary. The roots of hair are deep in epidermis and are called hair follicles which continuously generate cells making hair grow.
In the hairy part of the human head, there are from 100,000 to 150,000 filaments. In average, hair lives from 5 to 7 years. Hair follicles follow a specific concurrent cycle of anagen and telogen, growth and rest phases respectively. Typically about 85 percent of hair are in the anagen phase and 14 percent are in telogen phase. Hair and its follicle is mostly vulnerable in the anagen phase.
Why do people start losing hair?
Hair loss occurs for many reasons, outside (hair dye, fluctuation of temperatures) as well as inherent (various diseases, stress, pregnancy, medications, etc.). The change of seasons also affect hair (we lose more hair in spring). Hair is sensitive to the condition of thyroid gland, metabolism, and anemia. Hair growth is often upset by certain skin conditions (psoriasis, lupus erythematosus, seborrhea, and fungal diseases). Excessive secretion of fat glands (seborrhea) clogs skin pores and deprives hair of oxygen and other nutrients, destroying the hair.
With the high activity of the hormone androgen, hair loss is programmed genetically. This type of hair loss is called baldness and is responsible for 95 percent of hair loss in men.
Naturally, humans shed around 50 to 100 hairs a day. However, sometimes they can be replaced by much weaker hairs. This occurs due to changes in the hair bulb.
How to stop hair loss?
Hair bulb regeneration can be stimulated locally as well as by treating the entire body generally. Mesotherapy is one of the most effective hair loss treatment, for it affects the problematic area directly by infusing hair bulbs with active substances and stimulating regeneration. Typically, we recommend 4 to 10 mesotherapy sessions, however, it depends on the individual condition.
